Prosthetist-Orthotists work with people with a range of disabilities linked to congenital illness and trauma.

 

This may include clients involved in traffic collisions, industrial accidents or injuries sustained from conflict or post-conflict issues, such as landmines. The role also includes working with clients who have arthritis, club foot, diabetes, polio, cerebral palsy or with those recovering from strokes.
